Bistro is a hospitality palette with appetite. Teal gives it evening depth, peach and terracotta bring warmth, and mustard adds the small metallic note that makes the system feel memorable. It can feel like a menu, a sign, a tiled wall, or the last light on a restaurant table.

The palette is strongest when it is not polished too cleanly. Paper texture, warmer whites, and slightly editorial typography all help it feel lived-in. In gradients, the warm tones should not simply sit on top of teal; they should glow through it.

How to use it

Use teal as the anchor for navigation, hero backgrounds, and footer areas. Use peach and mustard for invitation: booking moments, product highlights, pull quotes, or slide dividers.

Color story

This palette has the warmth of service and the structure of good signage. It feels social, but it still has enough contrast for professional design systems.

Hero background

A full-bleed field with enough motion for a landing page and enough restraint for text.

Split layout

Use the gradient as one half of the composition, then let white space carry the copy.

Feature pillars

Repeat the palette across cards so the page feels like one system, not separate moments.

Design system utility

Ramps, variables, and production handoff.

Use the editorial page for direction, then take the palette into product work with OKLCH ramps and CSS variables.
